Energy Experts Network meeting - 23 June 2009, Brussels

During the meeting we discussed the European Initiative on Energy Efficient Buildings (E2B EI ) supported by the European Commission with €500 million from 2010 to 2013. FINA-RET has been also presented to participants; the project, financed in the framework of the IEE Programme, aims at designing innovative financing products for investments in Renewable Energy Technologies (RET) and Energy Efficiency Technologies (EET). In conclusion, participants have been asked to report on the use of white certificates or carbon trading systems to finance refurbishment of housing in their national contexts.
