Energy Experts Network meeting - 20 November 2009, Brussels
During the meeting we discussed the EU Eco-design directive. The directive addresses labelling to raise awareness of consumers on the real energy use in order to influence their buying decisions and energy efficiency requirements imposed to products from the early stage on the design phase. We have also discussed the reviewed Commission’s ‘Energy Efficiency Action Plan’ which will provide a framework for the Commission’s future actions in the field of Energy Efficiency.
