POWER HOUSE EUROPE Cooperation Pack
POWER HOUSE is working to gradually link up Europe’s 39,000 local housing providers in a “Big, Green Housing Exchange”. This pack explains how you can plug into the POWER HOUSE Network at European, National and local level to reach housing managers with your greening ideas.
Plugging into the POWER HOUSE Network makes sense:
> If your project is developing Resources, be they guidelines, best practices, reviews, analysis or tools which may be useful for housing managers who are working to reduce energy consumption and make their activities more sustainable;
These can be included in the Resource & Case Studies section of our site, highlighted in the POWER HOUSE Forum and communicated to National/Regioanl POWER HOUSE Europe Platforms and through them to their local networks through events and publications.
> If you have News on relevant developments or related initiatives;
These can be included in the POWER HOUSE News section and simultaneously in our BUILD UP Sustainable Public, Cooperative and Social Housing Community.
> If you have ideas or questions for housing managers about their experiences and the challenges they are facing;
These can be addressed directly to National Contact Points or practitioners in the field through the Case Study section or the on-line Forum.
POWER HOUSE EUROPE Website
To achieve this objective, the project Consortium has lunched the POWER HOUSE EUROPE Website, a one-stop-shop knowledge base at European and national levels containing all the information practitioners need to deploy the outputs of EU funded projects and allowing building professionals from Social Housing Organisations from all over Europe to access information on best practices on all aspects of energy management.
POWER HOUSE National/Regional Platforms
The project Consortium has also set-up a permanent POWER HOUSE National/Regional Platforms to implement local and tailor-made communication campaigns to maximise take-up of relevant EU funded project results and establish a permanent European exchange. These Platforms represent also a meeting point for key enablers of the energy transition at National and Regional level to help break down the existing information barriers surrounding the construction and reconstruction of green residential buildings.
Cooperation between your project and POWER HOUSE EUROPE
POWER HOUSE Website and Platforms’ activities (conferences, workshops and study visits) represent an ideal window to showcase project outputs and best practices from all across the EU.
To this end we have created this “Cooperation Pack” that will allow you to disseminate relevant outputs of the project you are managing. These can be new ideas, examples of case studies or best practices, guidelines, studies, analysis – basically any resource which may be useful for housing managers working to improve the sustainability of their activities.
Furthermore, related Events you are organising can be advertised on our website and contacts with National/Regional POWER HOUSE Platforms and local housing organisations to start up targeted national dissemination campaigns can also be established via the site.
How to proceed?
How to submit Organisations’ Profiles, Case Studies and Resources?

How to Submit an Event?
1 - Create your account by clicking on “Register” in the pink box you will find on the top-right side of the homepage;
2 - Complete the registration procedure and inform us (see contact below) about the username you have chosen and your willingness to submit an event; we would need this information to upgrade your account to allow you to do so. When this is done you will be notified via email.
3 - Log in with your username and password and click on “NEWS & EVENTS”, then on “Submit news/events” and follow the instructions.
4 - Once you have submitted the Event, please note that it won't be published straight away: CECODHAS Housing Europe will have to review it, and if necessary ask for some more information from you and than publish it.
Please note that if the Event you would like to advertise has a strong National dimension (rather that European), we also suggest contacting the National/Regional Platforms Coordinators (you will find their contacts in the sections dedicated to each of the established Platforms on the POWER HOUSE EUROPE Website) and ask them to advertise the event also on the page dedicated to POWER HOUSE in the national language they have on their website.
Last but not least, let us know if you would be interested in getting involved in any of the National/Regional POWER HOUSE EUROPE Platforms established to date.
