"Housing and the Energy of the future: the Structural Funds in action" - 22 June 2009, Brussels, Belgium
Hot Topics: Financing and Management
The modified ERDF regulation will allow regions to invest EU funding into greater energy efficiency and use of renewable in the key sector of housing. Not only will this represent a real boost to reduce wasteful consumption of energy and to decrease GHG emissions, but it will also help to lower the burden of energy bills that is the reality of many households in Europe. The objective of this seminar is to give answers to questions from local authorities and stakeholders (among them housing providers) on the eligible actions, but it will also be the place to exchange experience on projects in the field of energy efficiency and use of renewable in housing in order to build up the capacities of regions and cities to make the best of the EU support.
