Description

These guidelines are directed to people working in early design phases of building developments or refurbishment projects and want to achieve energy saving and environmental improvements with regard to the entire life time of the building
The guidelines with a methodology clarify the various aspects of the LCA, e.g., purpose, benefits, requirements, flexibility and different techniques.
There are applied to real (new and existing) buildings by a number of collaborating target groups.

This excel sheet guides user through different steps of LCA described in guidelines document: purpose of the study, assessment  tool, system boundaries, scenarios for the reference time, targets, building description, assessment, results and validation.
- Simplified LCA tool:
ENSLIC provides a simplified LCA tool that may downloaded by future users who start up with LCA in buildings and want to gain experience on this topic.
