Short Description

Oxtorget is built as a passive house with good insulation, windows and water saving measurements. There are green areas, recreation areas and schools within a walking distance and the town centre is easily available via the cycle way situated close by.

The houses are of two types, each containing 8 apartments; 2 houses of type A and 3 houses of type B. House A have 2 RK (rooms and kitchen) and 3 RK respectively. House B have 2 RK and 3 RK on one level. Apartments with 4 RK and 5RK are in two levels with an internal open staircase. The upper level includes an upper hall, bedrooms, wc/shower and a wardrobe. The hall has connection with the outdoors through the skylight window.

All the apartments have entrance enclosures and an additional uninsulated passage/doorway that during summertime serves as an airing area.

  • Oxtorget with Lindås project has inspired many to build passive houses. Finnvedsbostäder intends to build more passive and Värnamo municipality intends to build a Bruno Mathsoninspirerad preschool passive.
  • We would recommend anyone who has a focus on energy efficiency to remember other important aspects such as accessibility, noise, air quality, light and shading.
