Vitsippan are passive, meaning they are heated by the energy already present in the houses, from the people and household appliances.
It saves both energy and money, and provide a comfortable indoor climate because the walls have the same temperature as the indoor air. Living in the neighborhood Vitsippan is to choose a comfortable accommodation.
The building has an elevator and intercom and the apartment obviously own a dishwasher, washer and dryer. Each apartment has its own heat exchanger that gets its heat from biomass from energy supplier. Tenants pay their own use of heat, water and electricity.
