POWER HOUSE EUROPE is all about helping public, cooperative and social housing landlords and their residents save energy...and money!

A really important way of doing this is putting people in touch with each other, so that they can share their experiences and learn from each other, not only from people and projects in their own country, but also in other European countries.

There are all sorts of ways in which we can save energy in housing - by retrofitting existing housing or building new housing to high energy standards; by working with residents to ensure they obtain maximum savings from their energy efficient home and by using smart IT solutions to save energy. All round Europe, social and cooperative housing providers are doing some really exciting things. POWER HOUSE EUROPE is here to help you learn from them!

What can you do?

  • Search the list of case studies for examples of projects that are already doing the sort of things you want to do, either in your own country or other European countries. All of the case studies partners are happy to share information with you or show you their work. Go to Cases and Resources to find out more;
  • If you have a really good example of how energy can be saved, please do share it with everyone, by asking your national contact point to submit it as a case study. Go to National Platforms to find the contact point for your country;
  • Get in touch with other people who can help you with something you are wanting to do by posting a comment or question on the Forum. Go to Forum and post a comment;
  • Find partners for EU funded projects by posting a comment on the Forum. Go to Forum and put a comment;
  • Join in one of the study visits that we will be organising. A detailed list of study visit opportunities will soon be available in this section, together with information on how you can join one of these. An email alert will be sent around when this list is available; to get involved, contact your Platform Coordinator. Go to National Platforms to find the contact point for your country.
